I am a fully trained psychotherapist and a Lecturer. Most of my working life has been in education, as a teacher, middle manager and a counselling co-ordinator. I have also worked as an external verifier of counselling courses for CPCAB.
Personal Counselling: Life matters—but quality of Life matters more. Individual’s quality of life is the central focus of my client work. I have worked with clients who have Bi-polar disorder, OCD, Psychosis, clinical depression, addiction and acute anxiety. I offer counselling and psychotherapy, short and long term in private practice.
Supervision is an integral part of teaching counselling and psychotherapy. I also offer individual and group supervision.

I have worked in the therapeutic field for over 35 years and have extensive experience as a therapist/facilitator, clinical supervisor and as a college/university lecturer. I worked for many years in the NHS, including service development and clinical management. I also have considerable experience in the private and corporate sectors and as a higher education course inspector for the HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council, government statutory regulator).
